The only two trans women I know are formerly straight men too!

That is something that I just can not answer. You’d think they would be gay, right?
Maybe because most men are straight, therefore, most male cross-dressers would also be straight? It’s like asking why whites commit most of the crime in the U.S., because whites are the majority. If it was some other ethnicity, well, you get the picture. Besides, most straight men aren’t cross dressers.

You are correct, most cross-dresser are straight. Many of them are married men who otherwise live normal family lives.
The answer is complicated and I am not sure exactly why. I think it has something to do with a dysfunctional or non existent mother/son relationship.
yes but most heterosexual men are not cross-dressers and I would dispute that cross-dressing is somehow more uncommon in homos.

Furthermore, after a quick search, I found that about half of them define themselves as purely heterosexual. The remaining half are either bi-curious, bisexual, or homosexual….
