When I say norm that a male can wear typical female clothing (including skirts and dresses) , dress in feminine manner and be accepted as he works and goes about his day. Where he can just be who and what he wants to be without discrimination or loosing his job.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure that any of us will live to see the day where it is viewed as completely normal, although I don’t think we should give up on striving for that goal anyway, and make it possible for the future generations, because with time anythying like this is possible. Think about how far the whole LGBTQA society has come already, and if we started giving up, or being happy with what we’ve gotten we are going to remain stuck. So fight it, you already have so many more people on your side than when you started, and make it easier for those who come after you. Just think that everyday you put on your skirt or dress, wigs and makeup, that YOU my dear, are BEAUTIFUL, and you’ll always be a role model to someone out there
Unfortunatly, no. Because people set certain limits about what men and women should and should not do. I think it’s all messed up.
Uhm….no. I think by the time transgender rights – or crossing dressing rights- trickle into mainstream society I’ll be looooooong gone.

I don’t think it’ll be part of the norm for a long time, because we have thousands of years of history in traditional gender roles. I wouldn’t mind hiring a cross dressing man because if your performance is good, I don’t care what you wear.
No, I don’t think this will ever happen. The reason I hold this opinion is because most males do not wear female articles of clothing for the same reason that females wear male articles of clothing, and I’m just going to leave it at that.
EVER? Sure. Within our life times? Maybe not. I wish so though. Clothing belonging to a certain gender is ridiculous.
Probably not. I have to admit that when I see a man dressed up as a woman it’s really hard not to stare. It would be very distracting in the work environment.

I honestly think it will be accepted eventually. Every male has a feminine side, although not many will actually admit this. I know two such people, in fact.
I think it might take rather a long time – but eventually it will happen, And why not, indeed?

It will eventually SOME DAY. But what needs to happen first is for the straight community to accept it as ok. They are 90% after all. Most straight girls I know don’t even think cross dressing is alright for men (for women its fine, cause they can wear pants [what a hypocrisy]) I sure hope it does become mainstream. THE SOONER THE BETTER.
i would like to think so but there will always be people who think were weired or perverted
in the long run yes i suppose that everyone can wear what they want and no one bat an eyelash however…it will take a long time a very long time .
I really hope so. I would just love to be able to be open about wearing female clothes.
