In a society that has seen such a rapid surge in Women’s rights, why has this gone unnoticed? My girlfriend can wear pretty much anything in my closet in public without attracting any negative attention or scorn. Is the same true if a man was to enter his girlfriends closet?

Don’t interpret this to mean that this person is gay, or a homosexual, just as you wouldn’t infer that your wife is a lesbian for wearing your boxer shorts to bed.

I’m very curious to hear the femenist perspective on this, as being so vigilant in their search for equality. Logically, this should be a fundamental belief of all femenists as, by default this is exactly the same ridicule they preach against!?

Great answer so far guys – but let me ask you this. Since women represent 50% of the population, do women also represent 50% of the scorn and ridicule that crossdressers receive? If we saw a fundamental change in womens perception towards this, would the men not follow? It’s an interesting question that I don’t think anyone really talks about. I’m just curious as to why thousands of men have to do this in absolute fear of being ‘found out’ and having their lives ruined.
